Dear Friend,
We don't know for sure when Judge Walker's much-anticipated decision on Prop. 8 will come, but we think that it may be very soon, perhaps as early as Friday. For that reason, the June 8 meeting has been canceled, and the MESV coordinators have planned a community response to the decision.
On the day the decision is announced, a rally will be held at 6:00 P.M. at the Billy De Frank Community Center, 938 The Alameda, San José. Whether the decision goes in our favor or not, we will gather there with signs and speakers on hand to show our feelings. Please grab your friends and join us, and feel free to bring your own signs and symbols in support of marriage equality.
MESV will send out another Email Blast once the decision is announced to remind the community to attend that evening's rally. You can also subscribe to our Twitter channel (#Marriage_EQSV) for the very latest updates.

In addition to awaiting the decision, we are also gearing up for our first-ever booth at the De Anza Flea Market this Saturday, July 3, 2010. The flea market is located in Lot B on the De Anza College Campus in Cupertino. The MESV booth can be found on Row F, space 32. A map of the market can be found by clicking on the link below.
Please stop by the booth Saturday and say hello to our friendly volunteers. This is a very exciting and direct way to interact with other community members in a pleasant atmosphere, and a great opportunity to change hearts and minds. We anticipate being at the flea market on an ongoing basis, the first Saturday of every month.
