Today, May 22, is Harvey Milk Day, and what better way to honor the legacy of the great civil rights leader than to register to vote. Monday, May 24, is the last day to register for the June 8, 2010, election, so if you're at least 18 years old and a Santa Clara County resident, be sure to visit the Registrar of Voters website and register online. You can also check your registration status, if you're not sure whether you're already registered. Be sure to tell your friends too!
