The Reel Work May Day Labor Film Festival will be presenting famed gay rights activist Cleve Jones, Wednesday, April 28, 2010 (yes, tomorrow!), at San José City College. Following Mr. Jones' speech, the Academy Award-winning movie Milk will be shown. The event will take place in the Tech Auditorium, Room 415, at 6:30 P.M. Admission is by voluntary donation at the door.

Dine out, fight AIDS on Thursday, April 29, 2010. Many Silicon Valley restaurants will be taking part in this nationwide program to help benefit patients with HIV/AIDS. At the local level, at least 25% of participating restaurants' food revenues will be donated to The Health Trust (http://www.healthtrust.org). You and your friends can make a difference just by enjoying a nice evening together at dinner!

On Sunday, May 2, 2010, the Social Justice Group of the Los Gatos United Methodist Church will host a Movie Night and Potluck at the LGUMC Social Hall, 111 Church Street in Los Gatos, from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Bring a Mexican dish for 6 to share, and network with others who are making a difference in the fight for marriage equality.

May 22, 2010, is Harvey Milk Day, and Equality California, Silicon Valley chapter, will celebrate by door-to-door canvassing to change hearts and minds, and a barbecue!
