This highly-acclaimed documentary is a must-see for anyone who would like to know what the Bible and established science really have to say about homosexuality. The recipient of nine film festival awards, For the Bible Tells Me So; reconciles scripture and homosexuality by revealing that religious anti-gay bias is based almost solely upon a misinterpretation of the Bible. The film features prominent religious scholars and leaders, such as Archbishop Desmond Tutu, and the compelling stories of how five normal American Christian families handle the realization of having a gay child. The families of former House Majority Leader Richard Gephardt and Episcopal Bishop Gene Robinson are among those whose stories are told in the film. This moving film "boldly takes on a loaded topic and examines it both intellectually and emotionally, the result may well have you blinking away a few tears." —Seattle Times
